5.0 out of 5 stars Union Strikes It Up Again!, March 12, 2000
This review is from: Blue Room (Audio CD)
As has been quoted in previous reviews, "no sophomore jinx here"! The debut CD was awesome in it's own and UNION has proved themselves true to the music with their sophomore release "The Blue Room". This is rock as it was meant to be! It's sad when we live in a time that allows such meaningless, rhythmic-less garbage on the airwaves and ignores the REAL Deal.....UNION! Kulick and Corabi had a favor done for them when Kiss and Motley Crue reunited, as we may not have ever had the incredible, gut-wrenching, rock-n-roll like this to listen to had it not been for those bands reuniting......"The Blue Room"is plain and simply put...rock-n-roll as it was meant to be.......hard driving, gutsy, and every bit the best of the best! Buy it, play it, and sit back and enjoy.......you'll be glad you did!

5.0 out of 5 stars The ULTIMATE Revenge!, October 21, 2001
By "audiodogphile" (New York ...Where It All Began.) - See all my reviews
This review is from: Blue Room (Audio CD)
Two words -- Bruce Kulick! No "Strutting" required. Bruce pours his heart and soul into "The Blue Room." He offers the ultimate tribute to his "Dear Friend" with an incredible array of instruments including the voice of John Corabi (Corabi is the Scream and an Angel)! The song perfectly illustrates the vast spectrum of emotions that Kiss kept bottled up inside of this man... for too long. Now, Bruce "Shines." You will be "Hypnotized" from the opening notes to the last licks! Brent Fitz (yes, like a glove) (grin) shows his powerful stuff and Jamie Hunting is a class act! Union will grab you and never let you go! Check out "Live In The Galaxy," Union's incredible self-titled album, Bruce solo on "AudioDog" and don't forget the Bruce Kulick-produced "Rockology," showcasing the unparalleled gifts of Eric Carr... the thunder of the heavens with an angel's voice. Don't miss Bruce with Grand Funk Railroad! But, start with "The Blue Room" and you'll be mesmerized by the songwriting, musicianship and chemistry! Union will rock and roll you, seduce you and leave you begging for more!

5.0 out of 5 stars Rock and Roll The Way It Should Be, March 2, 2000
By A Customer
This review is from: Blue Room (Audio CD)
Kulick and Corabi have something to be very proud of, it's called "The Blue Room". They have produced a winner. This CD is a classic! Union shows us what rock music is supposed to sound like. All those new bands out there now need to listen to this and learn what real music is all about. Every song is on the mark. "Who Do You Think You Are", "Do Your Own Thing" and "Hypnotized" will hook you immediately. "Dear Friend" Bruce Kulick's shining moment will grab your heart. If your a fan this CD is a must. If you've never heard of Union after giving this a listen you will be a fan. Guaranteed! John and Bruce prove rock music is very much alive and well in "The Blue Room"
